UNIT 3 - LEARNING & THE BRAIN
What is learning? What is happening in your brain when you learn?.
Networks of neurons: When you think, the nerve cells (neurons) in your brain communicate by sending messages through a network of connections (synapses).
When you learn something new, the neurons grow and make new connections with each other. The more you learn, the more connections you make, and the bigger the network of nerve cells grows!
These growing networks of connections between brain cells mean
that you can think learn, and remember better. This is learning! Learn more
